Welcome! We are one of the oldest mood disorder support groups in South
Jersey.
We provide a stable protective environment that promotes wellness.
There
are meetings every Monday,
Wednesday, & Thursday.
NOTE:
New Beginnings has added a regular support group meeting each Thursday
night from 7 pm to 9 pm. It is similar to the Wednesday morning
meeting in that there are no special groups at different dates of the
month.
The New Beginnings Groups meet every Monday & Thursday
from 7 pm to 9 pm and also every Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm.
A separate support people group for spouses, significant others, family members,
and/or friends of someone with a mood
disorder meets separately on the 1st and 3rd Monday of
each month from 7 pm to 9 pm. Many people with affected loved ones find that
meeting with the main group as well as the separate support group is an
excellent way to gain valuable knowledge about mood disorders.
Women and Men split into separate groups on the 1st Monday of every month.
There
are more descriptions about each of these groups and other meetings on the
Special Groups
page.
We meet at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Warwick & Evesham Roads, Magnolia, New Jersey
Please use the rear entrance.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a
safe, confidential support group for people with mood disorders and their loved
ones.. Each person is encouraged to empower themselves to achieve wellness by
learning coping skills, sharing insights, and supporting each other with respect
and understanding.
Guiding Principles:
1. We encourage each other to be
personally accountable for our health and our actions.
2. We provide support and
encouragement in a relaxed, friendly, and confidential group environment.
3. We believe that attending our
meetings is a major first step in the right direction.
4. We do not provide professional
advice; we encourage you to seek such help.
5. Sharing our personal experiences
is the primary way in which we empower each other.
6. We don't pretend to have all the
answers, but we will try to help you find new directions.
We can't "cure" you or your
loved one, but we can assure you that you may never have to be alone.
