Summer Picnic
Despite the fear of being rained out the annual summer picnic on Saturday, June 3 was well attended. There was lots of great food and beverages for all. Everyone seemed to have a great time enjoying not only each other but the wonderful location at Bottom Lake. Much appreciation and thanks go out to Charlet for her hospitality. It was very nice of her to invite the group to her house again for yet another wonderful day.
Holiday Dinner
New Beginnings had its 2006 free holiday dinner at a local restaurant
on December.4th. We all seemed to have a great time; both visiting and
getting stuffed at the buffet!
FREE Pizza and Movie Nights
New Beginnings schedules other
special nights at various times of the year.
Our "Pizza Nights" and "Pizza with a Movie Nights" have both been
very successful in the past. We try
to give as much advance notice as possible. Our last FREE
Pizza night was September 18th and we had a lot of fun.
Friday Night Get-togethers -
We meet at a nearby diner at 6pm for coffee or a meal
(if you wish). Afterwards, those who want to will head to a nearby
theatre for a movie. Just a fun night out with friends. For more

Special Speaker
There was a special speaker, an accredited therapist
named Ray Bloom M.A on Monday, June 26. The
topic was "How Can People Get the Most Out of Therapy".
He also answered questions from members of the group.
Outside Speakers
Sometimes outside speakers are
invited to share their knowledge. Each
upcoming event and their date will be displayed here as soon as they are
announced.
